StopTech to Present Round 9 of SCCA World Challenge
LOS ANGELES (October, 2009) - StopTech, a leading innovator of world-class brake components and systems, has been named the presenting sponsor for Round Nine of the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge Championships: The Road Atlanta Grand Prix. The race will air on SPEED on Tuesday, October 20 at 2 p.m. (EST).
This is the second SCCA Race in a row presented by StopTech, following Round Eight at Road America where StopTech CEO and GMG Racing driver, Dino Crescentini, earned a podium visit with a third place finish. The Road Atlanta Grand Prix Presented by StopTech will be a part of the 12th annual Petit LeMans held at the 12-Turn, 2.54 Mile Road Atlanta track, For more information on the event, visit www.world-challenge.com . Consisting of two separate categories that race independently (GT and Touring Car), the World Challenge Championships are America’s top production car-based series.
