StopTech Earns ISO/TS16949:2009 Certification
Certification of the performance brake manufacturer assures automotive customers that StopTech’s processes and products meet the industry's expectations and standards.
(Industry, Calif. - March 10, 2013) – StopTech®, the high performance and racing pision of Centric Parts®, today announced that it has recently earned full ISO/TS 16949 certification, for the design and manufacture of automotive brake systems and components, expanding on the company’s commitment to providing the best high performance brakes in the world.
This is just the latest recognition for Centric Parts and its StopTech brand, which has already earned a string of braking technology patents, and has been repeatedly recognized by the Friction Materials Standards Institute for its substantial contribution to the development of new application references supporting the entire industry. In addition, Centric has garnered numerous industry and program distribution group awards for vendor of the year, best catalog, best website, best new products and more.
Stoptech engineers, manufactures and supplies a wide range of high performance brake components and systems for thousands of street car, armored vehicle and race car applications. Operating from a 71,000-sq-ft. facility and employing 100, StopTech supplies its brake components and systems to several OE manufacturers with both StopTech and private branding.
