STOPTECH TACKLES COMMON AFTERMARKET BRAKE QUESTIONS
THROUGH SIZZLING SERIES OF 'BRAKE DECISIONS' VIDEOS
Los Angeles (August 2010) - StopTech, the ultra-performance division of Centric Parts, has rolled out a free series of short "Brake Decisions" videos that answer the most common aftermarket brake upgrade questions. The videos are designed to assist consumers in making informed purchase decisions as well as help retailers, installers, distributors and sales forces direct consumers to the right type of brake solutions for their particular vehicles and driving situations.

The first round of videos address three very typical purchase decisions faced by drivers interested in aftermarket brake upgrades. One tackles the topic of drilled versus slotted brake rotors by highlighting the situations and vehicles each works best with. Another discusses what type of brake upgrades are best for getting the most stopping power out of performance vehicles on the track, using the StopTech Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car as a real life example. A third explores brake upgrade options for street performance vehicles, set against the tale of a Nissan 350Z in need of better brakes.
Future "Brake Decisions" installments will tackle the questions surrounding the bed-in of newly purchased brake pads, bringing trucks to a stop, and getting smooth deceleration from luxury rides.
