CENTRIC PARTS UNVEILS BEARING AND SEAL PROGRAM AT AAPEX
LOS ANGELES (November 2009) - Centric Parts, a leading manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket brake components and systems for import and domestic cars in all driving situations as well as light and medium trucks, is applying the company’s decade long automotive aftermarket expertise towards wheel bearings and seals by introducing a complete Centric Parts Wheel End program. The program consists of two product lines that exhibit Centric Parts’ long standing dedication to durability, quality and performance in the automotive aftermarket.
The Centric Premium Wheel Bearing and Seal program features hubs, bearings, and bearing components, including grease and oil seals, manufactured using original equipment (OE) processes and materials. Centric Parts’ reputation for complete application coverage, which has made their brake catalogs a de facto industry standard, continues with the Centric Premium Wheel Bearing and Seal program by covering practically all cars and light trucks manufactured since 1941.
Centric Parts is also introducing a C-TEK line of affordable, quality replacement wheel-end hubs, bearings, and components for the most popular applications on the road. The Centric Parts Wheel End Program of the Centric Premium and C-TEK lines were officially unveiled during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW), November 3 – 6, 2009, in Las Vegas where the company had a booth at AAPEX and SEMA. The full program, consisting of thousands of SKUs, will become available in mid-November.
“Centric Parts has amassed extensive experience and knowledge in the automotive aftermarket from the track to the garage,” stated Dan Lelchuk, President of Centric Parts. “The Centric Premium and C-TEK programs from Centric Parts bring our know-how to a logical next step for a leading brake company like ours through this complete wheel end lineup.”
Centric Parts (www.centricparts.com), a Southern California company that includes StopTech and Power Slot, was founded in 2000. The company has experienced solid growth every year since. Centric Parts now operates multiple warehouse and manufacturing facilities totaling nearly half-a-million square feet and exceeding 500 employees.
The company includes skilled and seasoned experts from across the industry. This entrenched knowledge of the industry brought by the executive team is further expanded on through Centric’s dedication to research and development. The company has one of the industry’s best programs for tracking and cataloging original equipment, resulting in over 40,000 braking system parts in the company’s catalogs.
Centric Parts uses this encompassing knowledge to devise and deliver quality aftermarket and OE parts for consumers, mechanics and car makers. The company has earned a string of braking technology patents and has earned the highly coveted TÜV approval on several big brake kits. Aftermarket industry associations such as the Friction Materials Standards Institute and the Auto International Association (AIA) have repeatedly awarded Centric Parts for contributions to the industry while the company continues to earn various Vendor Excellence and Customer Service awards from distributors.
Originally focusing on replacement parts for everyday use, Centric Parts has aggressively expanded into the performance market by acquiring StopTech as the ultra-performance pision in 2006 and Power Slot in 2007 as the performance pision. Team StopTech, a lineup of professional race car drivers from various teams and race series competing on StopTech brakes (including company CEO Dino Crescentini), just completed a stellar season with multiple pole-position-earning laps and first-place finishes.
