(Industry, Calif. – March 27, 2013) - Centric Parts, the leading manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket brake and clutch components and systems in North America, today announced several significant upgrades to its comprehensive Brake Shoe programs – from the introduction of the industry’s first ever parking brake-specific formulations to the availability of a new entry-level line of C-TEK Brake Shoes.
The new C-TEK Brake Shoe (110-Series) program offers a competitively priced entry-level option covering over 1,000 of the most popular applications. This latest addition to the Centric lineup enhances what was already the widest application coverage available, further expanding Centric’s comprehensive range of award-winning friction products. These new C-TEK Brake Shoes are available today.
The Centric Premium Brake Shoe (111-Series) program, meanwhile, now includes higher friction formulas specifically engineered for parking brakes – an industry first. Centric has also taken this opportunity to update its Heavy Duty Brake Shoe (112-Series) program with enhancements to both the formulations and coverage.
